Meta tag for Search Label, IsMobile and Archive

#1

I have these meta tag in my template

<b:if cond='data:blog.searchLabel'>
<meta content='noindex,nofollow' name='robots'/>
</b:if>
<b:if cond='data:blog.isMobile'>
<meta content='noindex,nofollow' name='robots'/>
</b:if>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;archive&quot;'>
<meta content='noindex,noarchive' name='robots'/>
</b:if>

My Question: should i keep above meta tag in my template? Note: I have already enabled Custom robots header tags in my blog and select ‘noindex’ ‘noodp’ for Archive and Search pages.

Even after i have enabled Custom robots header tags and above meta tag in my template my blog’s search result index all label with description “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt – learn more” . I think this is normal for all blogger blogs.

Hope you guys understand because my english is not so good :relieved:.

@Brijesh

Add this code in place of existing Code.

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;index&quot; and data:blog.url != data:blog.homepageUrl'>
<meta content='noindex,follow' name='robots'/>
</b:if>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;archive&quot;'>
<meta content='noindex,follow' name='robots'/>
</b:if>

(Code BY MBT)

Thanks,
