How to show the right thumbnail image in the sharing?

#1

Hello, when I share my posts on Google + the thubnail image is one of my sidebar and not the main of the post. So I’ve to choose it manually, but in this case the description disappears.

In addiction, in the sharing on Facebook there isn’t the thumbnail. The site is http://sofasophiablog.blogspot.it

How can I fix these problems? Thank you!

What does it mean? A fixed size for the sidebar or for the thumbnail?

Try to put it on your blog:

<!-- open graph -->
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;item&quot;'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.pageName' property='og:title'/>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.canonicalUrl' property='og:url'/>
<meta content='article' property='og:type'/>
<b:if cond='data:blog.metaDescription'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.metaDescription' property='og:description'/>
<b:else/>
<meta expr:content='&quot;Read article about &quot; + data:blog.pageName + &quot; On &quot; + data:blog.title + &quot;&quot;' property='og:description'/>
</b:if>
</b:if>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.title' property='og:site_name'/>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == data:blog.homepageUrl'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.title' property='og:title'/>
<meta content='website' property='og:type'/>
<b:if cond='data:blog.metaDescription'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.metaDescription' property='og:description'/>
<b:else/>
<meta expr:content='&quot;Please visit &quot; + data:blog.pageTitle + &quot;To read more articles.&quot;' property='og:description'/>
</b:if>
</b:if>
<b:if cond='data:blog.postImageUrl'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.postImageUrl' property='og:image'/>
<b:else/>
<b:if cond='data:blog.postImageThumbnailUrl'>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.postThumbnailUrl' property='og:image'/>
<b:else/>
<meta content='YOUR_BLOG_LOGO' property='og:image'/>
</b:if>
</b:if>
<meta expr:content='data:blog.title' name='twitter:site'/>
<meta content='summary_large_image' name='twitter:card'/>
<meta content='TWITTER_USERNAME' name='twitter:creator'/>
<!-- end open graph -->
